Peter, Gavin and Hollie visited us from Norwich Medieval Mystery Plays and told us about the project we were going to be doing. We learnt where the medieval period is in history and that it was before the Tudors. We looked at what clothes people used to wear, what their houses looked like and what jobs they did. We learnt about Norwich and the medieval period and talked about the Castle, Cathedral, walls, river, market place and the Guildhall. The Normans invaded Norwich in 1066 and built a Castle. They moved the market place to below the Castle. Norwich was once the largest city outside of London and was very rich because of the things it sold like wool.    Group 1
